Pros and cons of Learn French - EuroTalk app for iPhone and iPad

Learn French - EuroTalk app good for

Yes, it was what I expected. Pictured were great, with practice of our own pronunciation comparing with the example was veer helpful! I do wish with $9.99 there were more sentences and words even grammars to learn from it!
I am teaching my 7th grader some French. This is great because it shows pictures, French spelling and pronounces each word. No more trying to "guess" the correct pronunciation from a phoenetic alphabet. I dont mind the price, but it could use more words.
I enjoyed this app a lot. Very fun and easy to use. There are 9 basic categories. You just click on the word in English and you get to hear it in french and see a HD picture of the item. There are also fun games for each category to help you associate the word with the picture. I found it more useful than listening to a cd in the car. I can actually remember the french words because in my head, they are now associated with a picture. I wish they would expand it to include more advanced categories. Right now, it is pretty basic but worth the price. I recommend it for beginners.

Some bad moments

Too short and too basic for 10$ if you know the number 21 then you already above this program. Maybe will be good for 5-6 y.o. You can find all this in any free lessons.
Its really not worth to pay for that. The vocabularies are not enough at all, and very bad choise. The game is not useful to memorise the vocabularies.
